Elizabeth Shea holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Russian Studies from Vassar College, a Graduate Certificate in Human Services from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and a Master's from the Scott Polar Research Institute at Cambridge University. Elizabeth is an accomplished leader with experience in human services, program administration, grant-writing, public relations, federal & state policy, regulations and government contracting. She also has substantial experience working with diverse populations and within different cultural contexts, including in rural Alaska and the Arctic. During her time managing the Beringia Program, she was directly responsible for providing organizations with technical assistance on behalf of government programs. She has been responsible for federal/state tribal consultation agreements, and has a unique understanding of the challenges organizations face throughout the grantmaking process. Liz is a talented writer, and her ability to navigate complex systems is valuable to our team.
